Tasha Lester
A leader with roots in the Midwest and a certified MBE/WBE business owner, Tasha Lester is the founder of Tasha Lester Consulting, Inc. She helps organizations strengthen operations, develop leaders, and build systems that support long-term growth. Her work is grounded in real-world experience and a practical, people-centered approach.
She holds an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership, a Master of Arts in Human Resource Development, and a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Social Sciences with a minor in Psychology. This background shapes the way she builds solutions that are clear, sustainable, and aligned with how people and organizations actually function.
Tasha’s professional experience includes teaching graduate-level courses in Strategic Management and Compensation at the University of Miami, where she was recognized for her thoughtful instruction and meaningful impact on HR professionals.
Her civic and community work includes service on the Planning and Zoning Board for the City of West Palm Beach, contributions to initiatives within the Chicago City Council, and support for revitalization efforts in Chicago’s South Loop. She also served on the Community Development Board for the Greater Region YMCA in St. Louis and volunteered with the YRead literacy program. In addition, she has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, advocating for abused and neglected children and maintaining her commitment as a mandated reporter dedicated to youth safety and well-being.
Tasha is currently a continuing education professor where she designs and teaches professional development programs for adult learners. She leads with clarity, integrity, and a belief in what is possible, helping people and organizations grow, thrive, and move forward with confidence.
