Tasha Lester, M.A. HRD

Tasha Lester, born and raised in Chicago, IL, began consulting in 2011 after obtaining her graduate degree. Ms. Lester partners with clients to create sustainable change through collaborative processes, working with stakeholders in diverse industries. Her inquisitive spirit, invaluable expertise, sharp intelligence, and ability to take initiative, led her to become one of the best leading independent consultants. 

Ms. Lester's work involves taking startups and existing businesses to the next level; assessing organizational effectiveness; implementing change management initiatives; designing and developing blended learning training programs; and managing business priorities, milestones, and risks.

Ms. Lester is passionate about education and possesses a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University; a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Development from Northeastern Illinois University; and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Behavioral Social Sciences from East-West University. ​​

Ms. Lester taught two graduate level courses at University of Miami: Strategic Management and Compensation, within the Human Resource Management certification program for the Division of Continuing and International Education. She is recognized by the university and graduates for an unyielding commitment to their continual growth ​and learning. 

In 2013, Ms. Lester was appointed to serve on the Planning & Zoning Board for the City of West Palm Beach, FL and proactively served for two years. From 2007 - 2012, she played an active role in Chicago City Council and volunteered in her 1st Ward, the South Loop of Chicago, with Alderman Bob Fioretti on community development and public policy initiatives.

Ms. Lester is a Community Development Board Member with the Greater Region YMCA in St. Louis, MO (2019 - present). She became a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), with the National CASA Association in 2008, advocating for abused and neglected children within the Department of Children and Family Services, and remains a devoted mandated reporter. 

Ms. Lester is a Notary Public for the State of Missouri.
